Our Story

Our journey began during our university years, where a shared passion for structural engineering brought us together. What started as study sessions and project collaborations soon grew into a lasting professional bond. We discovered early on that teamwork, open discussion, and exchange of ideas led not only to better results but also to genuine enjoyment of the engineering process. We shared theoretical knowledge, collaborated and helped one another on tasks and seminars, and found joy in the process. The exchange of knowledge and diverse viewpoints became a common and memorable aspect of our journey.

As our individual careers developed, we each gained experience across different areas of structural engineering — from design and analysis to detailing and construction support — while maintaining the same collaborative spirit that connected us from the start. Over time, this approach expanded beyond our immediate team. We began organizing informal meetups and webinars for fellow engineers, sharing practical knowledge and discussing complex structural challenges. This initiative helped us build a wide professional network across Serbia and beyond.

A major turning point came when colleagues from Germany invited us to collaborate as key external partners in their structural engineering firm. The success of that partnership, and the professional standards we adopted through it, motivated us to establish SQR Engineering — a company built on precision, cooperation, and continuous learning. Our mentors and colleagues abroad remain close collaborators, providing valuable engineering expertise when needed.

Alongside our growing focus on international market, we continue to collaborate with respected Serbian engineering companies, many of which we previously worked for as employees. These partnerships keep us connected to the local industry and ensure that every project benefits from both local insight and international experience.

Our Team
